Vase by Currey and Company from the Octopus Collection collection in Cream/Reactive Blue finishThe Octopus Medium Vase is a decorative accessory handmade of stoneware by women artisans living at the border of Burma and Thailand. The process they used to create it is challenging and time-consuming. First the vase is thrown by one artisan, then another artist works by hand to apply the octopus to the profile of the cream vase before it is hand glazed and fired.
